Weight gain for all my girls

Yesterday was a tough transition day for Katie. I am amazed at how well she is doing, but postpartum began to set in and the transition from the hospital back to home has been stressful. I wanted to put a picture of Katie on the blog so folks can see just how well she looks. She's comfortable on her feet and her incision site is healing very well. We just need to settle into a new "normal(?)" routine of checking with the hospital to coordinate our visits so we're able to use free time to get back to projects at home like prepping a nursery!

Keller got a lot of our attention yesterday. She has been so tough...bearing extra pic-line insertions. She is eating well and has started to gain weight. In fact, all three of the girls are back to their birth weights and will continue to get bigger.

Keller snug as a bug I think she looks like me

Oh, yeah...Keller totally poo'd on me. Yeah...my first of many icky-dad experiences!

Beyond that, it was great to visit with the girls. All were back on their Billy-Lights; just precautionary for Hollister & Keller, but Quinn needed the lights. We kept on trying to get her to scoot onto her glow-bed, but she LOVES to spread out and kick a leg off the side.
