Professional photos

We worked with an excellent professional photographer (whom we are also lucky enough to know as a friend) to take the girls' first portraits. The results were fantastic and we couldn't wait to share a sneak peak!

P.S. If anyone is looking for an excellent family/portrait/event photographer in Va, we highly recommend Timorah Beales!

P.P.S. Picture four is daddy's favorite!!!

Spring is here

The girls are getting cuter all the time. With the great weather has come the opportunity to take more walks and enjoy the parks around Old Town. The trip always involves being stoped no less than five times with "you've got three?!" We love to brag on our girls, so that's fine.

Katie has also been getting a lot of compliments from some obviousely impressed (jealouse?) ladies who commenrs on how quickly she got her figure back. What can she say, no sleep and few opportunities to eat a sit down meal constitutes a heck of a weight loss plan.

Getting bigger everyday

The girls are doing really well. Life is pretty busy but we have settled into a bit of a routine. I wish the girls would learn the difference between night and day and get to sleeping a bit longer at night but, they are still little and will learn. At our last drs appt all 3 are gaining weight and getting taller. Keller is our smallest at around 7lbs, Hollister is our biggest at 8lbs, and Quinn is taking the middle spot at 7.5lbs. Keller and Hollister are really easy to tell apart right now. Being identicals, they are quite a bit different in appearance, we'll see if it lasts. They are 4 months old now but, they'd only be 1 month if they had arrived on time. Milestones are still being reached and the drs only expect certian developmental events to happen on time. For now, they are expected to show good head control during tummy time and start looking at and engaging with others.

Grammy (Katie's mom) is here and helping out and our night nurse is coming once a week to give us all a break. She stays from 10pm-6am and is totally worth the cost.

In another 2 weeks or so we hope to find out where we are moving to this summer. I am looking forward to finally being able to day dream about a bigger house and space for all our stuff. I miss having a big kitchen and storage space.

Thank you SO much!

Grandma had to go back to Ohio and take care of Gampy. The girls will miss her (and so will we). The house has probably never looked better.

Thanks for the help, we'll miss you!

More photos

Today was an unusually quiet day so I took some more photos and had a few minutes to upload them!

I figured out how to use the Moby wrap a friend gave me, the girls love it.

A good friend of ours gave headbands to the girls and their heads are finally big enough to try them on!
